disposition: a gift to Michael

I’ve known Michael for about 10 years.  In that span, I’ve played a number of practical jokes on him.  I don’t know why; I’m not normally the joke type.  I’ve decorated his cube, covered his wall with push pins, and left cryptic messages on his desk.  The latest incident was a setup where the money hander at the office break room accused Michael of taking food without paying.  Despite all signs pointing to me, Michael fell for it.  He claims that it was the second meanest thing anyone has ever done to him.

After my groveling for a day or so (“Can I get some tea for you?”), Michael started saying that I promised him a 1000 piece Frankenstein puzzle as recompense.  I repeatedly told him I wasn’t going to cut him a 1000 piece Frankenstein puzzle, but that I would make him something.  I thought a portrait of the devil was close enough to Frankenstein.
